CVF's Asia PF, Top Holsteiner Mare

Laurinn X Carpaccio X Cassini I

Chateau Vista Farm's Asia PF is a exciting top Holsteiner mare. With plenty of show miles with both professionals and amateurs, Asia is a true delight everywhere she goes from the hunter arena to the dressage arenas, this mare does it all and we are thrilled to be able to have her be a part of our breeding program here at Chateau Vista. Asia's sire is the international sensation Laurinn, motherline stamm 242. Unbeatable pedigree, international Grand Prix winner, producer of premium mares and foals and top young show jumpers. His son Sandstone Laurinn completed the 2005 Show Jumping World Cup Finals. Laurinn's heart and grit are almost beyond comprehension. Being in a league of his own scoring a perfect 30 in the showing jumping phase of his AHA stallion approvals testing, Laurinn was the only American horse to ever win the Grand Prix of Fountainbleu. That being said, Sandstone Laurinn has won numerous national and international Grand Prixs. These wins include: 25,000 dollar Oaks Summer Classic Grand Prix in 2003, the 50,000 dollar Rio Vista World Cup Qualifier Grand Prix in 2004, the 40,000 dollar Anderson Foothills Grand Prix in 2005, the 50,000 dollar Oaks Fall Tournament Grand Prix in 2005. Other significant placings include second in the 75,000 dollar Baher Grand Prix of Indio 2005, 3rd in the 150,000 dollar American Invitational in 2002 just behind Laura Kraut and Molly Ash and just ahead of Chris Kappler and Royal Kalibur, and 5th in the prestigious 175,000 dollar Chrysler Spruce Meadows Derby in 2003, His last international appearance was at the 2005 World Cup Finals in Las Vegas at the age of 16 with rider Gabriella Salick of the USA. Laurinn's mother is the super Rebel Z mare Zara who also brought up the approved stallion, Rash, by Cash. One of Laurinn's best young foals is also the midwest known Lieutenant Kije, owned and ridden by Janine Weatherby of Pheonix Equestrian Center in Nebraska. Kije showed in the Midwest Grand Prixs at the age of 6 in 2006 Kije posted 6 clear first rounds in 25,000 or more Grand Prixs, additionally Lieutenant Kije finished 2nd place in the Midwest YJC Finals. Holsteiner Laurinn has almost 30 offspring on US soil, we are excited to have one of them.
